The village
Community, marriage & marketplace rules
Share what you love, argue ideas — never people — and only ever sell what is truly yours.
Version 2026-08-v1
1. Who these rules cover
Everyone who posts in the forum, comments on the Journal or a scene, submits a marriage application, or creates or browses marketplace listings on turbomindz.com. You'll be shown these rules once and asked to agree before your first post, listing, or marriage application; continuing to use those features means you accept the current version — and we show you what changed when the version changes.
2. The spirit (the short version)
The village runs on curiosity and respect. Share what you love, argue ideas — never people — and only ever sell what is truly yours. If you wouldn't hang it in a shared home or sign your name to its provenance, don't post it, and don't marry it.
3. Forum & comments — conduct
Always fine: disagreement about ideas, criticism of artwork or philosophy, sharing your own work-in-progress, questions at any level.
Never allowed:
- Harassment, hate, or threats — attacks on people or protected groups, doxxing (posting anyone's private information), stalking, brigading.
- Sexual content involving minors in ANY form — instant permanent ban and report to authorities where required.
- Illegal content or activity: instructions for wrongdoing, sales of prohibited goods, content that violates any applicable law.
- Scams and market manipulation: phishing links, seed-phrase requests, impersonating Turbomindz staff or other members, wash-trading talk, coordinated pumping, “guaranteed return” claims. (We never DM you first; nobody legitimate needs your wallet's secret phrase.)
- Spam: repeated self-promotion, off-platform sales solicitation, AI-generated flooding, link farms.
- Other people's private communications or copyrighted work posted without permission (short quotes with attribution are fine).
Moderation: reports go to the moderation queue and a human reviews them. Actions escalate — content removal, then a warning, then a temporary mute, then permanent removal. Deliberate severe violations (2, 3, 4) skip the ladder. You can appeal any action by replying to the moderation notice; a second human reviews appeals. We keep a private log of moderation actions.
4. What may be married — art eligibility
A marriage permanently pairs one Turbomindz NFT with one physical artwork you own. Because the married pair can be listed for sale, the standards are strict.
Eligible art must be ALL of:
- Yours to commit. You own the physical piece outright AND either created it or hold written rights to reproduce images of it. No borrowed, disputed, stolen, or jointly-owned-without-consent works.
- Original. Not a copy, print, or derivative of someone else's protected work. Public-domain source material is fine when your piece is your own transformation.
- Physical and specific. A real object with true dimensions, medium, and condition you can photograph from multiple angles (the application requires 3–8 photos, title, medium, dimensions, and a statement).
- Lawful and documentable. Not stolen or looted; not made of prohibited materials (e.g. ivory or protected wildlife parts under CITES); not subject to cultural-property claims; export and import lawful where you are.
- Within content bounds. Nothing from the never-allowed list above; no sexually explicit material; nothing created to harass or defame a real person.
Provenance declaration. Every application includes your signed statement: “I own this work, it is my original creation or I hold written rights to it, it is lawfully mine to sell, and the information I provided is true.” False declarations void the marriage, forfeit listing rights, and may be reported where the law requires.
AI-assisted art must be disclosed in the statement. Purely generated work with no substantial human authorship is not eligible — its copyright status is unsettled, which poisons provenance.
Review. Every marriage is human-reviewed before approval. We may ask for more photos or proof of ownership, and may decline any application at our discretion. Declined is not accused — sometimes provenance simply can't be established well enough to stake the registry's name on it.
5. Marketplace rules
- Only married pairs list. A listing offers the NFT and its married physical artwork together, as described in the marriage profile.
- Describe honestly. Condition, dimensions, medium, and photos must match reality. Material misdescription means listing removal; repeat offences mean a marketplace ban.
- You sell what you own. Listing someone else's pair, or a pair whose physical work you no longer possess, is fraud — permanent removal.
- No price manipulation. No wash trading, shill bidding, or coordinated pumping. No financial-return promises — art is not an investment product here, and nothing on this site is financial advice.
- Fulfillment. Physical delivery, shipping, insurance, and any taxes are between buyer and seller unless a listing says otherwise; describe your shipping terms in the listing thread before accepting an offer. Turbomindz operates the venue, not the escrow.
- Forum tagging. You may tag your listing into relevant topic rooms — it posts once per room, clearly marked as a listing, and untagged rooms stay sales-free. The marketplace room receives every new listing automatically. Retagging the same listing repeatedly is spam.
- Takedowns. We remove listings that violate these rules, respond to valid IP complaints, and cooperate with lawful requests.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe content here infringes your copyright, send a notice with your contact information, identification of the work, the URL of the material, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that you're authorized to act, and your signature — to the designated agent listed on our legal page. We remove on valid notice, forward counter-notices as the law provides, and terminate repeat infringers.
7. Enforcement, changes, and the law
- We may remove content, decline marriages, cancel listings, and suspend accounts to enforce these rules; severe cases skip warnings.
- These rules version like software: the agree-gate records which version you accepted, and material changes re-prompt you with a summary of what changed.
- Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, and nothing here is legal, tax, or investment advice.
- Governing law, liability limits, and dispute terms live in the Terms of Service; these rules are incorporated into them.
