Connecting your wallet

What happens when you click Connect.

Three steps, about 60 seconds, nothing scary. Read this first if it's your first time signing into a Web3 site.

Loading the sign-in chooser…

The connect flow, step by step.

1

Click Connect

One click opens the sign-in chooser — Google, email, passkey, or your own wallet — MetaMask, Base (formerly Coinbase Wallet) and WalletConnect are one tap away, and 500+ more (Rainbow included) are behind "All Wallets".

2

Approve the connection

Your wallet asks you to authorize this site. We learn ONLY your wallet address. No email, no name, no permission to move funds.

3

We check your NFT holdings

If you hold an Inception or Off the Map NFT, the forum's theme rooms, your dashboard, and the marketplace unlock automatically. There is no verification step and nobody to wait on.

Common starting points.

I'm an agency client — is this where I sign in?
Your project portal uses a simpler door: an email sign-in link, no wallet needed — the button below takes you there. It's one house, though: the same account that tracks your project also opens the village, the Field Journal, and your collection.
I don't have a wallet — what now?
Use the email-login wallet on the Connect modal — it creates a wallet behind your email, nothing to install. Or install MetaMask (free browser extension, 2 minutes). Our /start guide walks through both.
I clicked MetaMask but got a QR code instead of my extension.
That means the page didn't spot your browser extension and offered the phone-app path instead. Two quick fixes: hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R) and click MetaMask again — or, if you run more than one wallet extension, temporarily switch off the others (Phantom, Coinbase, Rabby) so MetaMask is the one the page sees, then reconnect.
I don't have POL — can I still browse?
Yes. Browsing the gallery and reading the manifesto needs no wallet at all. POL is only required when you decide to buy.
What does the website learn about me?
Just your wallet address. We never request permission to move funds. The only thing we ask you to sign is a one-time message proving you own the wallet.
What gets stored in your database?
Your wallet address and whatever optional fields you choose to share — bio, display name, handle. Never your private key or any other wallet activity.
Do I have to verify my holdings anywhere?
No. Link your wallet to your account once and the theme rooms open — we read your holdings from the blockchain ourselves, and re-check them. There is no third-party service in the middle and no role to claim.
Can I disconnect later?
Anytime. Click your wallet badge in the top nav, then "Sign out." The session ends immediately. Your wallet stays in your control.

New to all this? Start gently.

Browsing the gallery, the manifesto, the FAQ and the forum all work with no wallet at all. When a scene pulls at you, you'll be ready.
