"Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment." — Rumi (d. 1273) 🔮 THE PLOT TWIST: EXT. PERSIAN BAZAAR STALL — NIGHT, LANTERN-LIT, CALLIGRAPHY HANGING ON THE POSTS. A bearded merchant holds out a glowing crystal to Cosmo and Stella while Nova hovers near. Cosmo reaches instinctively for coins. The merchant shakes his head. This stall does not take money. Its price, written above it in Rumi's own hand, is stranger and harder: your cleverness — the tidy certainty you have been so proud of carrying. Cosmo hesitates. To buy the glowing crystal of real wonder, he has to hand over the comfortable feeling of already knowing.
