"We cannot step twice into the same river." — Heraclitus (d. ~475 BCE) 🔮 THE PLOT TWIST: INT. MICROSCOPIC CELL-WORLD — GLOWING ORGANELLES, AN EMBRYO CAPSULE. A large Nova cradles a glowing embryo capsule; small Cosmo looks on, startled, beneath the words: everything with a beginning has an ending and that's okay. Cosmo's eye fixes on the word ending and his face falls. Then Nova lifts the capsule a little higher, and he really sees it — the beginning, glowing, brand new, held in two careful hands. He had been so braced for the ending he nearly missed the start. The cellular fact has two halves, and he'd only been reading the sad one. Nova is not holding a countdown. She is holding a beginning, and beginnings are the most worth holding gently. 💡 THE INSIGHT: If you only ever read the 'ending' half of the fact, you miss the wonder: every ending was first a beginning worth cradling. 📐 THE EQUATION: A glowing beginning + careful hands = a thing whose ending, much later, will be okay. 🚀 Cosmo (startled, then softening): "I read 'ending' and got scared.
