SUNSET DESERT — ROLLED RUGS, CAMELS, INCENSE RISING. Cosmo sits on a carpet that is rolled up, going nowhere. Stella kneels among scattered maps. And above Nova floats a thought-bubble holding a single, enormous question mark — no words inside it, just the curve. The maps offer routes. The camels offer distance. But the only honest answer to the question in the bubble is the incense smoke: rising slowly, unhurried, not arriving anywhere and not worried about it.
