Cosmo and Stella lead a long procession of small figures up a glowing path between erupting peaks. The mountain is doing its worst. The line does not break. The twist is the shape of the light: from the front, Cosmo cannot see the summit, and from the back, the last figure cannot see Cosmo — but every single torch can see the two torches nearest it. That is the whole engineering of courage. Nobody is carrying the entire dark. Everyone is just lighting the six feet of trail that the person behind them has to walk next. 💡 THE INSIGHT: You do not need to see the summit. You only need to be a visible torch to the two people closest to you. 📐 THE EQUATION: each torch lighting only its neighbours = the whole mountain climbed 🚀 Cosmo: "I can't see the top.
