FROZEN CRYSTAL PLAIN — AURORAS COMBING THE SKY. Cosmo walks an ice field that throws rainbows at his boots, and beside Nova a glass sphere is mid-burst — caught at the exact instant of coming apart. His first instinct is to flinch: something is breaking, something is lost. But the sphere is not dying. It is releasing. Sealed, it held its light hostage; shattered, it scatters that light across the whole aurora-lit plain. Nova hovers, unhurried, because she knows the difference between a thing destroyed and a thing finally let out. Not every crack is a wound.
