A bridge is just someone deciding they shouldn't. "As above, so below; as within, so without." — Hermes Trismegistus (c. early centuries CE, Corpus Hermeticum) 🔮 THE PLOT TWIST: EXT. SKY ISLANDS — A WINDING GOLDEN BRIDGE, MYSTICAL ISLANDS DRIFTING. Cosmo, seen from behind beside a small Nova, stands on a curving golden bridge that links floating islands carrying trees, creatures and esoteric symbols. The twist is the natural state of the islands. Left alone, they drift — that is simply what floating islands do, slowly apart, each one its own small lonely world. The bridge is not natural. The bridge is a decision. Somebody, at some point, looked at two islands content to drift and built a golden span between them anyway. Connection is never the default. It is always an act — gold laid down, deliberately, against the quiet pull of everything floating off alone. 💡 THE INSIGHT: Separateness is the default; things drift.
