Nova floats inside curling sumi-e clouds. Below her, Cosmo studies a string of small circular vignettes — human silhouettes, each one alone in its own little bubble. He counts them, lonely on her behalf. Then the twist surfaces in the brushwork: a single winding path threads every bubble together. Nobody is islanded. They only looked separate because Cosmo was reading the dots and missing the line. 💡 THE INSIGHT: Solitude is a trick of scale.
