Cosmo holds a polaroid camera; Stella raises hers to photograph the scene; Nova floats nearby. Cosmo thinks he's the one doing the capturing — he, the photographer, framing the world. The twist is Stella's lens, pointed straight at him. While he composes his shot, he is being composed in someone else's. Every observer, it turns out, is simultaneously a subject.
