There is only a question someone left in the wet, face-up, still blinking. Behind him Nova keeps three glowing orbs aloft — three theories, three suspects, none permitted to touch the ground. Stella strides up the alley to back him. Cosmo reaches for an orb, to *know* already — and stops his own hand. The instant a theory lands, the other two go dark.
