Cosmo crouches placing a glowing star tile; across the pattern, Stella does the same; Nova floats between them. Cosmo works his corner of the floor, focused, a little proud — this is *his* section, his careful contribution. He glances up to check his progress and sees Stella's lines reaching toward his from the far side. For a moment it stings: he thought he was building this. Then it lands properly. The pattern is too large for one tiler, and was designed that way on purpose. His row was never going to be a finished thing on its own. It was always meant to meet a row that someone else was laying — and the meeting is where the floor actually becomes a floor. 💡 THE INSIGHT: Your part of the work is not supposed to be complete by itself.
