Cosmo stands arms flung wide on a single black brushstroke, Nova beside him. Cosmo throws his arms open to take in the enormous universe — and feels, for one vertiginous second, how small the brushstroke under his boots really is. Then the scale flips. The stroke is small, yes. But everything around him — every galaxy, every floating world — is also made of strokes exactly like it. He isn't standing on a fragment of the cosmos. He's standing on the same stuff the whole thing is painted with. 💡 THE INSIGHT: The small line you're standing on is made of the identical ink as the galaxies.
