All four work the loom together — Cosmo and Stella pulling threads on the left, Luna and Nova on the right — and across the frame stretches a tapestry alive with miniature universe landscapes. Earlier in the collection, a single thread floated alone in a green void and could not see its own pattern. This is the answer to that scene. The lone thread never could see the picture. But four sets of hands, each holding their lengths true, each trusting the others to hold theirs — they don't see it from inside either. They build it.
